Drinking alcohol is bad for you in almost every way possible. It’s obvious that drinking alcohol will affect your outward appearance in the short-term and long-term as well.

According to drinkaware.co.uk:

“Alcohol dehydrates your body generally, including the skin – your body’s largest organ. This happens every time you drink. Drinking too much is also thought to deprive the skin of vital vitamins and nutrients. Over time, drinking heavily can have other, more permanent, detrimental effects on your skin. Rosacea, a skin disorder that starts with a tendency to blush and flush easily and can eventually lead to facial disfigurement, is linked to alcohol.”

Besides the way that alcohol effects your skin, there are a number of other ways that alcohol can affect your appearance such as:

  • Bloating
  • Bad odor (breath)
  • Weight gain
  • Increased cellulite (from toxins in alcohol)
  • Bloodshot eyes

It doesn’t make sense why anyone would take a sip of alcohol if they’re at all concerned about their looks. This is a serious problem…A problem that is was recently fixed by a simple drink called ANTI-AGIN.

Anti-AGIN is Gin that is designed to improve your appearance instead of destroying it! This drink is designed for the person who is doing everything in their power to stay looking youthful, without the thought of giving up alcohol.

The creators are calling this drink the “alcoholic equivalent of a facial”. The ingredients are filled with skin boosting ingredients.

This beauty potion is 40% alcohol, which is right on par with other liquors such as Tanqueray, Beefeater and Hendricks’s. However, Anti-Agin is distilled with pure collagen.

What is Collagen?

According to draxe.com:

“Collagen is the most abundant protein in our bodies– especially type 1 collagen. It’s found in our muscles, bones, skin, blood vessels, digestive system, and tendons. It’s what helps give our skin strength and elasticity, along with replacing dead skin cells. When it comes to our joints and tendons, in simplest terms, it’s the “glue” that helps hold the body together.”

The source goes on to mention that collagen begins to slow down as we age, thus leaving us with the “signs of aging” such as wrinkles, lines, sagging skin and joint pain. I guess this means you should consume more Anti-AGIN to incorporate more collagen in your diet?

It seems as though many companies are jumping on the collagen bandwagon. Collagen and other nutritional supplements are one of the fastest growing beauty trends with an estimated market value of over $7 billion by 2020.

However, despite the extreme interest by consumers, there is apparently very little credible evidence to support the fact that collagen can actually help your skin and make you more attractive.

There need to be many more studies conducted to confirm that collagen, let alone collagen-booze, is going to actually give you any substantial increase in your outward appearance.

What are your thoughts? Do you think that booze distilled in pure collagen is a real way to improve your appearance or just smart marketing for a liquor company?
