What is Cryotherapy?
Modern day beauty regimes leave us amazed at what could be done by combining certain elements of science with everyday problems. Cryotherapy is one such treatment that can cure the early effects of aging, sports related injuries, and even improve athletic performance. People who undergo regular cryotherapy treatment are more prone to experience longevity and will be able to enjoy the very essence of life’s vitality. Even though it involves freezing temperatures that may leave people chilled to the bone, patients say that the benefits of cryotherapy definitely outweigh the discomfort of the initial arctic temperatures.

Preparing for Cryotherapy
When you come in for your cryotherapy appointment, we will go to great lengths to ensure that you are at ease. We understand that it might be an uncertain experience for first timers and we are more than happy to show you that you have nothing to worry about. We will prepare you for the treatment by giving you the appropriate clothing to wear during your time in the cryospa. All our clothing – the gloves, footwear, and body covers – have been washed and rinsed to ensure that they are always 100% clean for our next client.
Once we have prepared you, you will enter the cryospa and we will begin the therapy. The spa itself will be adjusted to below freezing temperatures – about -294 degrees! This is needed to ensure that the benefits are reached effectively. People who will benefit from this kind of therapy the most is people with chronic pain, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammation, sports injuries, and those who show signs of aging. This does not mean that people who are healthy can’t benefit from this. It is one of the more modern ways to relieve stress, tension, insomnia, and depressive emotions.
Depending on what it is you would like to achieve you might have to come in for a few more cryotherapy sessions after your initial one. This will be fully discussed with your doctor who will give you more advise on it, based on your medical history and background.
